Have you ever wondered how old you have to be to join the fire department?
We accept members age 14 and up!
Age 14/15 – Cadet
Cadets can participate in trainings, help with fire prevention, & maintenance on equipment.
Age 16/17 – Junior
Junior members can participate in trainings with Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (scba), respond to most calls, and be in non-hazardous conditions
Age 18+ – Regular Members
After your probation period you can respond to calls, participate in training and earn certifications to advance your training and knowledge.
